The Vice Versa Bag is inspired by the bones in our bodies and in animals. Bones are what allow us to move, and I wanted to show that in the design. The outside of the bag is made of white lasered plexiglass, shaped like bones.

The bag itself is made from up-cycled cowhide leather. The soft, hairy side of the leather is on the inside of the bag, while the smooth suede side is on the outside. I painted the suede dark grey to give it a more modern and stylish look.

I wove the shoulder strap by hand on a small loom. The black-and-white block pattern matches the rest of the bag’s design, making it feel complete and balanced.
