What if the Frakta looked different in the year 2050? For my project, I envisioned a
campaign that IKEA could host on Sustainability Day. The focus would be on promoting
mindful consumption.
On this special day, customers would not use the regular yellow Frakta; instead, they would
be encouraged to use a sustainable Mini Frakta. Shoppers would only be allowed to
purchase one item that fits inside this smaller bag. By limiting their purchases, customers
would need to make thoughtful choices instead of simply throwing anything into the larger
yellow Frakta. This approach encourages greater awareness of shopping habits.
The Mini Frakta is made entirely from jute, a sustainable material made from the jute plant.
